Book Review - Give Me ‘Til Midnight by Oran Doyle
Cutting to the chase, do I recommend this book? Unequivocally YES!
This beautiful book is about two characters who are stuck. One may be literally stuck in a 24 hour time loop. And the other stuck in life. Until they find each other.
Liam and Harmony spot something in each other that may help them become unstuck, and journey across the beautiful city to try and find answers, or maybe just to find a connection.
This is Oran's first published book but won't be his last by the way he masterfully navigated the characters and plot through a side of the city you don’t normally stop and see.
Through expertly navigating the relationship Oran builds up a mystery and a will-they wont they relationship that keep each page fizzing with energy and drives the reader forward to know what happens next. These characters crept into my heart.
Super short chapters, which I love!
I finished reading it about a month ago and it has stayed with me since, unlike many books recently.
Recommended for YA readers.
